Dentistry
Routine
dental care is essential to your horse's health.
Periodic examinations and regular maintenance, such as
floating, are especially necessary today. Proper dental
care has its rewards. Your horse will be more
comfortable, will utilize feed more efficiently, will
perform better, and may even live longer. We offer
power floating and hand floats to ensure the proper care
for your horses teeth.

Endoscopy
Our
three meter and one meter video endoscope allows
visualization of the stomach of the adult horse as well
as more common throat studies.

Intensive Care
Our
hospital is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week to
receive both medical and surgical emergencies. Our
staff is dedicated and well-trained to provide the
constant monitoring and attention essential for the
successful management of intensive care cases. Our
in-hospital laboratory is well equipped to supply the
necessary support required to manage the critically ill
patient, from the neonate to the geriatric.

Services
We offer an on site Equine
Infectious Anemia (Coggins) Lab, as well as the ability
to run chemistry panels, electrolyte panels and complete
blood counts while you wait.

Diagnosis
Our state of the art
diagnostic center includes ultrasonography and digital
radiography. Our
goal is to define the cause of lameness as accurately as
possible and then initiate appropriate therapy.
We work with all disciplines of horses.

Radiology
Our digital radiograph equipment allows us to
produce diagnostic imaging of large body parts such as
back, hips, neck, stifles, abdomen, chest, etc.
Special studies such as myleograms, arthrograms,
etc. are also available.

:: Surgery
Our modern hospital facility has accumulated
a surgical staff with more than 40 years of surgical
experience. Our
surgeons are well-trained in all surgical disciplines,
such as arthroscopic, abdominal, orthopedic, throat and
laser surgeries; however each has a specific area of
interest, providing the greatest range of surgical
expertise in
North Texas
. Each
patient is evaluated through a teamwork approach between
our veterinarian, our surgeons, interns and dedicated
technical staff from the initial exam through the
follow-up.

Our hospital
offers digital diagnostic ultrasound equipment to insure a
quality image is available to assist our doctors with
the assessment of soft tissue injuries or disease.
We are able to image tendons, chest, abdominal
organs and general soft tissue in remarkable detail.
