Dr. Wes Williams, D.V.M., M.S. 

Dr. Wes Williams is a 1980 graduate of Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Williams continued his postgraduate education at U.C. Davis in a surgical internship and residency for five years.  After leaving the University, Dr. Williams became a partner in one of the largest referral surgical facilities in Southern California, Chino Valley Equine Hospital, formerly owned by Dr. Bob Baker.

Dr. David Gilchrist, M.V.B., D.V.M.

Dr.
David Gilchrist is a 2006 graduate of the University College Dublin, Ireland College of Veterinary Medicine.  On graduation he began his internship with Lone Star Park Equine Hospital.  He continued to work with LSPEH after his internship as an associate until December 2008.  During his time at our hospital he received accreditation through the AVMA and obtained his D.V.M. status. 

After working in Ireland in 2009, Dr. Gilchrist returned to LSPEH as an associate in January 2010 to help us provide ambulatory services/farm calls for the greater DFW area while continuing to have appointments at LSPEH as well.

Dr. Gilchrist rode show jumpers in Ireland from an early age and from this experience has a great interest in equine sports medicine and lameness.

Dr. Genève Dundas, D.V.M.

Dr. Genève Dundas is a 2008 graduate from Ross University.  She began her internship July 2008.  Her primary interest is in sports medicine.

Dr. Ryan Cate, D.V.M.

Dr. Ryan Cate was born in Fort Worth, TX and raised in Boyd, TX.  He became involved in the equine industry at a young age and continued his endeavors through college.  He obtained a Bachelor oif Science degree from Texas A&M University in May 2000 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in May 2009.Dr. Cate began his internship with Lone Star Park Equine Hospital in June 2009.

While at Texas A&M he was a member of the Corps of Cadets and the Intercollegiate Horse Judging Team.  His veterinary interests include lameness, soft tissue/orthopedic surgery as well as critical care/emergency medicine.
